Very pleasant staff on reception, and also communication-wise (prior to stay). Very nice room, which was so clean. Very comfortable beds, and a lovely, powerful shower. Nespresso coffee machine (with complimentary Ristretto coffee pods!). Complimentary biscuits and teas. Plenty of lovely towels and complimentary toiletries. Air conditioning (always a must). The surprise cheesecake, for two, was a wonderful moment. There was a knock at the door, and it was presented to me for my son and I (my sons birthday was the purpose of the trip). The cheesecake was presented beautifully, and it was very much enjoyed. We really appreciated it. We opted for breakfast the next morning and took advantage of the buffet - which was all so delicious. There was so much choice (full English, continental pastries, fruits, cereals...). There was so much, and we did actually go back to have a bit more! The freshly squeezed orange juicer was my delight 🍊 that I'll always go for - and there was lovely coffee. The location was absolutely perfect - we had a show at The Royal Albert Hall, and we also did the Natural History Museum. Everything was within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again. The price for a twin room, in the heart of Kensington, was incredibly cheap (£199).Breakfast was £20 per person, if you were staying. Thank you for such a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We'd not hesitate to book with you when we are next visiting London ✨️

This is an absolute gem of an hotel if you want a quiet, comfortable, pied de terre in London. The hotel is absolutely spotless and the staff, especially on reception are exceptional. Big shout out to Jerry and Sam who were so helpful on arrival and departure. We stayed in room 1015 which was perfect if a little small. The shower was amazing. Complementary bottled water replaced every day which I can tell you is becoming rare! Well stocked mini bar and good coffee supply. Nice complementary toiletries in the shower room. The breakfast buffet offers a good range to suit everyone and the freshly squeezed orange juice is amazing! Nice selection of Danish pastries as well as the usual cold meats, cheese and traditional cooked fare. The hotel is on a classic Kensington wide leafy street. It only takes a few minutes to walk to Gloucester road where you have a good selection of Pubs, cafes and shops. The V & A, Royal Albert hall and Exhibition road are only yards away. For the tube, either South Kensington or Gloucester road are about 10 minutes away. Within a very short time you can be in the centre of London but it does feel nice returning to the peace and quiet of The Queens Gate hotel after a day in the city. We would definitely recommend this Hotel and will be using it as our London base from now on.

Ideally located for The Royal Albert Hall (around a 10 minute walk) and just a short walk (around 20 minutes) from other local attractions (The V&A Museum, Harrods etc). Very well appointed room, (we had room 311, which was the twin room with street view) which was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom had under floor heating. All the controls for lighting, heating etc were on a digital control panel. All the staff were polite, courteous, helpful and cheerful. The breakfast was buffet style, which had a wide range of food to choose from, form plain toast to a full English breakfast and everything in between. The food was cooked to perfection and very tasty. There was an extra menu, too. The dining area was spotlessly clean and never felt crowded. There was an option to take away coffee and pastries from the breakfast, too. Just ask the staff for a take away bag and fill it up.

Firm & comfortable bed. Quiet room with none of the usual traffic, creaky floorboards, or banging headboards, you get in most other hotels. Good checkout time, excellent breakfast with lots to choose from, free internet with excellent download & upload speeds, good sized wall-mounted TV. Friendly, attentive, and well mannered staff. There's even a door attendant at this hotel. The lifts were working, clean, and easy to use. I read that the single rooms were small, which it was, but I was surprised to find that it worked well, had everything in, and suited the room very well for a single occupant. The hotel is close to The Royal Albert Hall, Science Museum, Natural History Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and easy to find from Paddington Station via the park areas. Highly recommended.

The hotel is at the Queen's Gate which is about a 10-15 minute walk from the South Kensington tube station on the Piccadilly and the District and Circle lines. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets around the station therefore we didn't have to worry about food. The hotel is also surrounded by museums and the Imperial colleague is right opposite to the hotel. Walking to the National History Museum is just 10 minutes. The area is generally safe and quiet. We were booked into their triple room where there are 3 single beds which is super rare for hotels in London. The room is extremely spacious and we still have a lot of rooms to move around even with 3 big suite cases lying on the floor.
